MedWings and Wayne Law clash in exciting hockey showdown

Wayne Law and the MedWings clashed on the ice in a thrilling hockey match last Friday at the Buffalo Wild Wings arena. The Wayne State School of Medicine MedWings faced off against  WSU Law School. The MedWings secured a 9-4 victory, with goals scored by several players, including Nik Minanov, Warren Lockette, Lauren Larson, Jack Summers, Andy Mizerowski, John Treppan and Shawn O’Malley. WSU fencing starts season by embracing challenges

The Wayne State men’s and women's fencing teams have been setting the stage for the season, actively participating in competitions over the past couple of months. As the teams geared up for their first team meet yesterday, they navigated through a series of changes, including adjusting to new coach Andy Tulleners midway through the season. Tulleners, who previously served as head coach at Cleveland State University for more than 12 years, said learning is his strategy to approach both teams....

WSU tennis teams start season strong as defending GLIAC champions

The Wayne State men’s and women’s tennis teams kicked off their season with impressive victories, setting the tone for the matches ahead. The men’s team is currently 3-4. The team started its season Feb.1 with a victory against Lawrence Tech in a home game of 7-0.The team showcased its strength in both doubles and singles matches, winning all three doubles contests and all six singles matches led by standout performances from Cedric Drenth, Daniel Grey and Dominic Spicer.

Men’s Club Soccer defeats CMU; players share passion for the game

Wayne State Men’s Club Soccer won their fourth game this season in a matchup against Central Michigan’s Soccer Club on Sept. 17.In the first half of the game, there were many rough plays with players trying to win possession of the ball. In the second half of the game, Forward Ali Jasem scored a penalty kick giving the team its first goal with a score of 1-0.
